Char Dham Yatra Registration 2023 will start on 20 February 2023, due to the huge number of devotees last year, the government has made online registration mandatory. All in-person/offline registrations have been closed. The government has also launched a mobile app through which you can register yourself. Through the mobile app and official portal, devotees will be able to plan their trip. Advance registration can be done according to the carrying capacity of the devotees in all four pilgrimages.

Char Dham Yatra is one of the most popular sacred Hindu pilgrimages in India. Char Dham is a group of 4 most sacred pilgrimages in Garhwal, Uttrakhand. The tour of Char Dham Yatra starts from Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. It is the dream of every Hindu pilgrimage and Indian to visit the Char Dham once in their life. Char Dham is open only for 6 months in a year and it becomes inaccessible only for 6 months during winters due to heavy snowfall and harsh weather.

Every year, lakhs of pilgrimages visit the Char Dham yatra so it is mandatory for everyone to register online. Registration will help the government and authorities to keep the data and then to plan and manage the huge amount of pilgrimage so that the yatra of pilgrimage becomes smooth and have good memories of the yatra. Pilgrimage who are planning to visit Chardham Yatra can register on the official portal of Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board. Registration will start on 20 February and without registration, devotees may not be allowed to complete their yatra.

As per the new Rules it is mandatory to register for char dham yatra online, offline facilities has been close for Year 2023. It is not mandatory for a permanent resident of Uttarakhand to register for Char Dham Yatra.

Modes Of Char Dham Yatra Registration 2023

As per the new Rules, it is mandatory to register for char dham yatra online, offline facilities have been closed for the Year 2023. The Devotees can register for Char Dham Yatra through the following methods:

• Through the online portal.
• Mobile app “Char Dham Yatra & Uttarakhand”
• Through kiosks or hand-held devices manned by physically trained personnel (Yatri Mitras)

Online registration for char dham yatra 2023 Procedure

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of Uttarakhand Care Uttarakhand.
• On the homepage, you have to click on register here for the char dham option.

• Now an application form will open on your screen.
• Enter your name, Mobile number.
• Select the registration type from the following option:
  1. Tour Operator
  2. Individual
  3. Family
• Now If you are a tour operator then enter the following things:
  1. Company Name
  2. GST number
• At least enters a password and click on signup.
• Now you will get OTP on your registered mobile enter it and click on submit.
• Now using your mobile number and password you can log in to the portal.
• After login dashboard will be open on your Screen.
• On the dashboard, you have to click on create/manage the tour.
• Click on the new tour.
• Now a form will open on your screen, fill in all the details asked likes:
  1. Tour type
  2. Tour Name
  3. Tour date
  4. Enter the number of tourists
  5. Mode of travel
  6. Select the destination one by one.
• After completing the form click on save.
• Now you will get the Registration for tourist form.
• Enter the details of tourists like:
  1. Name
  2. Address
  3. Mobile Number.
  4. Emergency Contact Person.
  5. Contact number and relation with the emergency contact person.
  6. Country, etc.
  7. If you are hiring a taxi, then the Driver’s name, vehicle number, and passport-size photo.
  8. Select identity proof and upload the documents.
• You can add tourists by clicking on add.
• At last click on save and next and then click on finish.
• Now you have to download Yatra Registration letter PDF which will have a unique QR Code.
• Carry the letter during the tour and an SMS will be sent with the unique id.
• The Yatra Registration letter will be verified before entering the destination.
